Fees & Payment

  • Registration Fee (non refundable): € 500     
  • Tuition: € 2,400 (€ 1,900 for LMU partner university students)
  • Accommodation Fee: € 1000 (June 19 until August 22)

The tuition includes the following:

  • "German survival" language class (8 contact hours)
  • all lectures (120 contact hours, 45 min)
  • participation in all day trip excursions (Nürnberg, Berlin, Castle Neuschwanstein)
  • participation in all extra-curricular activities (i.e. Opera performance, Concentration Camp Dachau Memorial Site)
  • public transport ticket (10 weeks)
  • internship (minimum of 140 contact hours)

Meals will not be provided. Lunch will be available at the University for approximately € 3 – 7 per meal.


Accommodation

We offer accommodation for all participants in single rooms with own kitchen and bathroom.


Payment

  • First payment
    The Registration Fee of € 500 has to be submitted as soon as possible in order to secure a place in the program, but no later than by April 1, 2020.
  • Second payment
    Tuition and Accommodation fee are due by May 15, 2020.
    It is possible to make a lump sum payment any time before April 1, 2020. Payment by credit card is not possible, PayPal is possible.

Please note: Your place in the program is only secured if you transfer the full amount to our account via money-wire transfer on time. Make sure that your bank will not deduct additional costs for the transfer. All bank fees have to be paid by you. Please ask the bank in your home country for assistance. Please include your full name and the abbreviation of the progam (MSC) on the money-wire transfer payment. Your name has to be clearly identifiable.   


Cancellation Guidelines and Purchase of Flight tickets

The MSC MISU administration reserves the right to cancel the program for any reason and at any time. After April 15, however, the program cannot be canceled by the MSC/MISU administration. If cancellation of the MSC should be decided, registration fee and all other payments will be refunded  to the student.

All students admitted to the MSC program will receive a confirmation letter shortly after April 15th that the program is a "GO."" MSC' students are advised to purchase their flight tickets after they have received the confirmation letter that the program is a "GO.".  Any purchase of a flight ticket before having received the confirmation letter is at the students own risk.   

Cancellation by students

Cancellation before the registration closing:

The registration fee is not refundable.
All other deposits will be fully refunded.

Cancellation after registration closing:

The registration fee is not refundable.
If accommodation was booked, the deposit for the rent may not be refunded.

Cancellation 4 weeks before commencement of the course:

The registration fee is not refundable.
If accommodation was booked, the deposit for the rent will not be refunded and 50% of the course deposit fees will not be refunded.

Cancellation 3 days before commencement of the course:

The registration fee is not refundable.
If an accommodation was booked, the deposit for the rent will not be refunded and 80% of the deposit for the course fees will not be refunded.
